Calling Middle and High School Students in the Philadelphia area
This spring, middle and high school students from the Philadelphia area can
sign up for a really cool After School Program -- writing, directing and
producing their own short video about WATER.
The students will be the ones to decide how to voice their views on world,
national and local issues related to drinking water and sanitation. We are
looking for budding writers, camera operators, actors, directors, and
musicians to join us. They will work with professionals from public
television WHYYs Learning Laboratory.
The program will begin Wednesday, March 26, 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the
Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center, and will run for 10 weeks
through May 28. Field trips to WHYY studios will be part of the program.
